“I started designing my Quad pickup design back in Australia in the 90’s. I wanted a pickup where the main sound was a split humbucker but other classic sounds were possible. So the idea of having the 4 coils of 2 split humbucker pickups working together became the basis of my design.”

Balance control - center detent - full Humbucker
With push / PUSH (tone) knob in down position.
Full clockwise - traditional Split Humbucker.
Full anti-clockwise - reverse split Humbucker.
With push / puSH (tone) knob in up position.
Full clockwise – single coil left side COILS (Neck).
Full anti-clockwise – single coil right side COILS (Bridge).
